Today I finally baked some Sugar cookies i've been really into baking lately with Christmas just around the corner im finding new recipes to try out this one came from Pinterest
They are so easy to make they only take about 5 minutes with prep creaming together the sugar butter and vanilla extract then adding the flour and the christmas sprinkles
The Ingredients are
1 Cup of softened butter
2 cups of self raising flour
1 Large egg
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 cup and 1/4 cup of white sugar

Since its the 1st day of December I thought it would be a good time to try out this recipe I found on TikTok its a soft gingerbread cookie dough that is full of white chocolate chips I also added some milk chocolate chips toon
For the recipe you will need to cream the butter sugar and vanilla and molasses together
The ingredients are
2 cups of flour
Itsp ginger
Itsp cinnamon
1/4tsp nutmeg
1/2tsp baking soda
1/2tsp baking powder
1/2cup butter
3/4c brown sugar
1/4c sugar
I egg
Itbsp molasses
Itsp vanilla extract
I cup white chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips
Then fold in the chocolate chips with your wet and dry mix that has been mixed together
They need to bake for 15 to 17 minutes
at 170 fan forced
These are so delicious and soft and gooey from the chocolate chips

Not part of the Plan is a book written by sisters Kristen Clark & Bethany Beal this book has been such a comforting read since my relationship break up its been really hard because i was also engaged planning a future with someone and having all the wedding plans sorted for there to not be a wedding now and no future together it has been difficult to come to terms with but i have been so incredibly blessed to have such amazing family and friends around me that encourage me and knowing that Jesus is my saviour helps so much in times of uncertainty
This book is perfect to dive deeper into understanding sometimes things don't work out and Jesus is in control and everything will work out in the end
They also include stories from their own struggles and bible scripture to read when your feeling uncertain and ways to pray when you get overwhelmed by emotions it's only normal to have these emotions having such a great support network of people has helped me and knowing that The lord Jesus is always there and has something better planned for me always helps and brings such a comfort to me in this season of now being single again.

The Floriade has always been a traditional spring time event that my family goes too this year me and my sister went and we stayed in Canberra for a few days so we had more time to see the sights of Canberra this year the floriade hade a few different areas where the tulips where we went to the Lanyon Homestead for Devonshire tea and they had such gorgeous gardens there

Hidden in the national botanical gardens in Canberra is this gorgeous little cafe called Pollen it’s got beautiful outdoor and indoor seating areas and it’s around all of the gorgeous green trees
The eggs Benedict crossiant was absolutely delicious
The pastries and cakes were so delicious
