All about the base & foundation
One thing im always super vigilant about is always having good skincare prep before foundation application I have been loving the combination of the Mario Badescu facial toner sprays with my Neutrogena hydro boost moisture this creates a smooth base for the primer & foundation & the Mecca maxima life proof concealer
All about the powders
Narrsisst Blusher Palette Covergirl vitalist healthy powder Flower Beauty miracle matte powder
So im normally not a blusher kind of girl but when I saw this beautiful Cars blush palette I just had to pick it up the colours inside of this palette are so creamy & easy to build up the covergirl vitalist powder is a perfect bronzer for my pale skintone I get the shade 742 Medium Beige
The flower beauty miracle matte powder sets everything into place I use this at the very end of my makeup application and than I use my Colourpop All Star setting spray
Its a Princess Thing Palette Supershock Shadows & Hourglass caution mascara
These products have made creating any kind of eye makeup look so much easier the its a princess thing palette has a gorgeous arrangement of different colours so you can create any type of look from a day look to a fun night look the Colourpop supershock shadows are have always been a must have of mine ever since they started making them and my love for these is always the same there is honestly nothing else like a supershock shadow from colourpop the formulation is very buttery and easy to apply
The Hourglass caution mascara make my lashes appear more longer than what they actually are they also create a full curl effect on my lashes too
A Pop of Colour with Lipstick
Colourpop lipsticks have such a creamy matte and moisturising texture to them

If there is one thing that I love about Colourpop is that they always have a perfect consistency with their shadows I honestly can never get enough of the colours they come up with in their palettes these both have a fun little arrangement of colours and the packaging is really stunning on both of these palettes
With Valentines Day being around the corner I thought I would bake these gorgeous Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
2 Cups of Plain white flour
1/4 cup of Cocoa Powder
1 Teaspoon of Bicarb soda
1 1/2 of Caster Sugar
1 cup of Buttermilk
200g unsalted butter
1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract
2 eggs light whisked together
1 tablespoon of white vinegar
1 - 2 teaspoons of red food colouring
For the frosting you will need
2 packets of cream cheese at room temp 250grams each
2 Cups of Pure icing sugar
120 grams of butter at room temp
1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence
You want to preheat your oven to 170 fanforced
in a large mixing bowl sift your Flower Cocoa powder & bicarb soda into the bowl
in a separate bowl add your caster sugar buttermilk eggs vinegar and vanilla extract until its all combined
make a well into the centre of your dry mix and add your wet ingredients in once combined you can add you red food colouring
you need to let these bake for at least 20 to 25 minutes
In a large mixing bowl cream together your Cream cheese sugar butter & vanilla essence together you can add some cute little decorations ontop mine are from Wiltons
