GingerBread Cupcakes with Gingerbread buttercream frosting

These Gingerbread cupcakes with a soft buttercream frosting filled with gingerbread spices are my favourite to bake for the christmas season 

What you need to make these gingerbread cupcakes
1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of molasses
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon , ground ginger & cloves
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of hot water
You need to preheat your oven to 350F degrees " 175C degrees "
place your cupcake liners in a baking pan for cupcakes

In a large bowl cream together your butter & sugar once cream add your egg beaten & the molasses 
In a separate bowl mix all of your dry ingredients together make sure it is all sifted first then add your  dry mix to the wet mixture gently stir in the hot water until its all combined together
Then add the mixture to your cupcake liners & bake for 25 - 30 minutes
the mixture may look very runny & that is normal they bake into soft gingerbread
Gingerbread Buttercream frosting 
250gram Stick of Butter 
1/3 molasses 
1/2 ground ginger
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 of ground nutmeg 
2 cups of icing sugar
Grab a mixing bowl & cream the butter add your molasses & spices and cream until its a soft brown colour then add your icing sugar little bit by bit
These are so moist & that buttercream frosting is so creamy & full of that gingerbread flavour
